Blistered Green Beans & Tomatoes Recipe
These All-American green beans have been re-invented & go perfectly with a classic steak dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter or dairy-free substitute
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 1½ cups cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Kosher or fine sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes. Add the oil and butter. When the butter has melted, add the green beans, tomatoes, and garlic. Let sit for 90 seconds, undisturbed. Toss and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the beans are crisp-tender and the tomatoes start breaking down. Add the vinegar, season to taste with salt and pepper, toss to coat, and serve.
