Kiddy Moon Milk
Moon Milk is an Ayurvedic sleep remedy of warm milk that has been used for centuries to help people sleep. It usually has cow’s milk and honey but can be vegan with nut milk and maple syrup. This Kiddy Moon Milk is great for kids to drink shortly before bedtime. They’ll love the flavor!
For this drink, I used ChildLife Sleep Essential which is made with natural herbal ingredients that help relax your child’s body and calm their mind for a good night’s sleep. Although my kids are grown, I remember the days of restless nights, and something like this would have been a nice addition to their bedtime routine.

Kiddy Moon Milk
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon , plus more for garnish
- ChildLife Sleep Essential , use appropriate amount for age per package instructions
Instructions
- Heat the milk, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon in a small saucepan until warm. Whisk in the Sleep Essential. Continue whisking to froth the milk or use a frothing wand. Serve warm before bedtime.
