Who would’ve thought that the pairing of robust, earthy sesame tahini with warm and toasty chai spices could be so uniquely delicious? These little bites prove it to be so!

Chai Sesame Sweeties
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup raw cashews, toasted
- 1/3 cup sesame tahini
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
- ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ cup Grade B maple syrup
Instructions
- In a food processor fitted with the steel blade, grind the cashews to form a coarse flour, about 25 seconds.
- Add the tahini, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and salt.
- Process to combine.
- Add the maple syrup and process just until the mixture forms a ball.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. (Don’t worry if the dough is oily. That will disappear as the balls chill.)
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
