Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
While the pasta is cooking, prepare your “cheese” sauce: add the cashews, water, chilies in adobo, nutritional yeast, garlic, turmeric, nutmeg, paprika, salt, and pepper to the pitcher of a high-powered blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
When the pasta is al dente, drain and return it to the pot. Pour the sauce over the noodles and stir until the noodles are fully coated. Sprinkle with a dash more paprika and serve immediately.
