Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9-inch cake pan with cooking spray.
Place the nuts in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Process until the nuts resemble fine crumbs. Add the chocolate chips and process until well combined. Add the butter and sugar and process until the dough forms a sort of ball around the blade. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, process to combine. With the machine running, add the milk and vanilla. Add the dried fruit and pulse until the fruit is incorporated.
Scrape the batter into the prepared pan band bake for 22-25 minutes or until the edges are dry but the center looks soft. This will give you a fudgy center. If you want a drier cake, cook a few minutes longer.
