Marinate the chicken tenders in the Tandoori marinade from the meal kit for at least 10 minutes or longer, the longer the better.
Add enough oil in a large skillet to come up ¼ inch. Heat over medium-high heat until it begins to shimmer. Fry for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Heat the Tikka sauce from the meal kit in a small saucepan.
Serve the chicken over rice and top with the Tikka sauce, pickled red onions and cilantro, if using, and the fried onions from the meal kit.
The chicken can also be cooked in an air fryer; spray with oil and place in air fryer preheated to 400°F. Cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
