apples
peeled and chopped (see note), tossed with a splash of lemon juice

24-ounce can pure pumpkin

honey

maple syrup

vanilla extract

ground cardamom

ground cinnamon

teaspoon
ground nutmeg

teaspoon
ground cloves
Instructions
Place all ingredients into a large slow cooker.
Cook on low for at least 12 hours.
Let cool.
Blend with either an immersion blender or in batches in a regular blender.
Pour into jars. (Refrigerate until ready to serve or give – will last 2-3 weeks in an airtight container refrigerated.)
Notes
Note: If you have a high quality blender, you can leave the skins on the apples.
