boiler or pearl onions
peeled

raisins or dried cranberries

balsamic vinegar

butter
melted

sugar

kosher salt

Instructions
Use a 6-quart slow cooker.
Peel the onions and place them into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the raisins, vinegar, butter, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Stir to combine.
Sprinkle with the pine nuts.
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours, stirring every 30-40 minutes. The onions are finished when they are brown on the sides and have begun to wilt.
Once finished cooking, you may keep them on the “warm” setting for an additional 3 hours.
