Ingredients

can young green jackfruit, drained and rinsed

small yellow onion
finely diced
1
cup
gluten-free Kansas City-Style BBQ sauce
tomato based, not vinegar based

garlic cloves
minced
Gluten-free buns
for serving
Instructions
Place all of the ingredients except the buns in a small crockpot. Cook on low for 4-5 hours, stirring at least twice.
Remove from the crockpot and use forks to shred the jackfruit. The seeds of the jackfruit, which look like beans, may be smashed with a fork.
Serve on gluten-free buns.
