Ingredients

gluten-free vegan pizza crust
1½
cups
jarred tomato-basil sauce
2
medium tomatoes
, cut into 1/8-inch slices
½
cup
fresh basil
, finely chopped
Nutritional yeast
, for topping (optional)
Instructions
Bake the crust according to recipe instructions.
When done, remove the crust from the oven and top with the sauce.
Arrange the tomato slices on top of the sauce and return the pizza to the oven.
Bake for 5 minutes, then turn to broil and finish for 1-2 minutes so that the tomatoes start to char.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 3-5 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh basil and nutritional yeast (if using).
Slice and serve.
