Use an oval 6-quart slow cooker, along with an inserted 9x5-inch (3-inch deep) glass loaf pan.
Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix well; I prefer to use my hands. Press the meat mixture into the glass loaf pan and place into the slow cooker insert. No need to add water.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-5 hours. You’ll know the loaf is done when it’s brown on the top and it starts to pull away from the sides.
When thoroughly cooked, turn off and unplug the cooker and let the meatloaf sit for about 15 minutes before removing from the pot.
