This Easy Moroccan Chicken is a perfect “Take-Out Fake Out” Recipe for the family to enjoy! It’s simple to make and is great for re-creating restaurant food favorites at home.

Easy Moroccan Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
- 1 cup prepared chunky salsa
- 2 teaspoons honey
- ⅓ cup golden raisins
- ⅓ cup slivered almonds
- Kosher or fine sea salt, - to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, - to taste
Instructions
- Use a 4-quart slow cooker. Place the chicken thighs into your slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the salsa and honey. Smear this mixture onto all sides of the chicken. Sprinkle golden raisins and almonds on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for about 3½ hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve over a bed of brown rice or quinoa, if desired.
