Bat Wings
Ingredients
- ½ cup gluten-free soy sauce
- ½ cup sesame oil
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 3×1 inch piece fresh ginger, finely grated
- 2 garlic cloves, finely grated
- 1 teaspoon black gel food coloring
- 10 whole chicken wings
- Black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and food coloring. Pour into a large food storage bag, add the chicken wings, and marinate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Discard the marinade.
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Place the chicken wings on the prepared baking sheets and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the wings register 165ºF on an instant read thermometer.
