Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix in a Jar
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Time for family and friends and gift-giving, oh my! This year, if you want to warm up the kitchen and make some delicious treats to give as gifts, I have several recommendations … like my world-famous (well, they’re famous in my circle of family/friends) Homemade Marshmallows, my go-to classic Pignoli Cookies, our editor’s favorites Good Fortune Cookies and Cherry Pistachio Chocolates, the kid-favorite Santa’s Thumbprint Cookies, and this adorable new recipe for Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix in a Jar.
This cookie mix lets you give the recipient a gift that they can then bake with their kids or whip up on a cold winter’s night when they need something comforting. What’s even better about this is that you can have fun decorating the jar with ribbon and a cute label with the baking directions written on it.
And perhaps the best part is that it uses pretty standard baking ingredients that you might already have a supply of, like baking soda, salt, and sugar. The only things you might need to buy are jars, chocolate chips, and a good-quality gluten-free all-purpose flour.
You’ve probably heard me say it before but I’ll say it again … the best gifts are those that are homemade!
