Shiso Cucumber Mint Mocktail

Looking for a refreshing summer drink that everyone can enjoy? Then look no further because this Shiso Cucumber Mint Mocktail is perfect for the whole family to enjoy on those hot summer days. Shiso leaves are Japanese herbs and add a minty flavor to any dish or drink. This drink is full of flavor and will put you in a summer mood.

To make this drink you first start out by combining Marukan Genuine Brewed Rice Vinegar and the seedless cucumber in a small bowl and sit for about 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes are up you strain the vinegar into a bottle. Then you make the Shiso Simple Syrup by combining the sugar and water in a small saucepan and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Once the sugar is dissolved you add the shiso leaves and let it infuse for 4 hours before straining the syrup in a bottle. Then put both a mint and shiso leaf in the glass with ice. With a cocktail shaker combine the cucumber vinegar, lime juice, and sparkling water and shake gently. Then pour the mixture in the glass and serve.

Give this drink a try the next time you feel like the sun might melt you.
