Like the contrast of chilly mornings and warm afternoons in the spring, this recipe gives you the bite of tequila with the calm of cranberry. When I think of cranberry juice, I usually think of a vodka and cranberry cocktail, not a margarita. For that reason, I was curious to find out what one would taste like. I’m sure glad I did!

Cranberry Margarita

Ingredients 

  • ounces cranberry cocktail juice
  • ¾ ounce lime juice
  • ¾ ounce silver tequila
  • ½ ounce triple sec

Instructions 

  • To make a margarita on the rocks, combine ice and all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well and pour into a cocktail glass.
  • To make a frozen margarita, combine ice and all ingredients in a blender. Blend until all the ice is crushed well.
