This Decadent Chocolate Panna Cotta with Fresh Blackberries is a naturally gluten-free dessert that is absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day!
Decadent Chocolate Panna Cotta with Fresh Blackberries
Ingredients
- ¼ cup (60 mL) milk
- ½ teaspoon (1.5 g) unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 cup (240 mL) heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons (25 g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (135 g) chocolate chips or roughly chopped chocolate, preferably at least 70% cocoa
- 4 tablespoons (36 g) fresh blackberries, washed
- 6 fresh mint leaves, , for garnish
Instructions
- Pour milk into a medium bowl. Sprinkle gelatin over and let sit for 10 minutes, until gelatin softens.
- Add the cream and sugar to a saucepan. Slowly heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves, then turn off the heat. Add chocolate chips and milk/gelatin mixture and stir carefully until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Strain the mixture into two serving glasses and place in the fridge to set for 3 hours.
- Just before serving, garnish with blackberries and fresh mint leaves.
