Giardiniera Dip

Ingredients 

  • 1 (16-ounce) jar giardiniera
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, , room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or egg-free mayonnaise
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, , minced

Instructions 

  • Reserving 2 teaspoons of the liquid, drain and chop the giardiniera.
  • Combine the chopped giardiniera and reserved liquid with the remaining ingredients.
  • Refrigerate until serving time. The dip is best made the day before and allowed to sit in the refrigerator for the flavors to meld and mellow.
  • Serve with gluten-free crackers, toasted baguette slices, or crudités.
