For me, there is nothing that screams vacation like having an icy pina colada on the beach or by the pool.
Summer is here and I have (unfortunately) no beach vacation in sight so I rely on one of my little life hacks for tricking myself into thinking I am on a vacation – I create the food or drink I would consume in that place I wish I were.
I put a little spin on the classic pina colada with the addition of Mozart Chocolate’s new flavor – Coconut. It is a refreshing balanced liqueur with a distinctly Caribbean note and is delicious on its own. In this pina colada, it adds a touch of coconut as well as a sweetness that I feel really balances out the classic recipe.
I really hope you have some fun, exotic summer vacation on the horizon, but if not, you are welcome to join me and enjoy a pina colada in the shade of my backyard.
Cheers!
