Ready for a recipe that has all the ingredients for the perfect end to a date night? Sweet + Spice + Chocolate + Simplicity + Portioned for 2 = PERFECTION … also known as Gluten-Free Super Quick Keto Mexican Chocolate Mousse.

This Valentine’s Day dessert is exceptional in so many ways. It’s quick and simple, decadent, and as a bonus it is sugar-free and keto-friendly. They say love is about sacrifice and compromise, but when it comes to this recipe (which you’re sure to fall in love with) that is not the case! You can have everything you want in a dessert and leave the sugar behind with Swerve.

If you haven’t tried my recipes using Swerve, head over to this page with all the recipes I’ve made so far using this sweetener. It’s a zero calorie, non-glycemic sweetener that can be substituted cup-for-cup for sugar.

I hope you spend this Valentine’s Day with someone you love and share this delicious chocolate mousse with them. But if you’re rolling solo this year, this dessert is guilt-free enough that you can help yourself to both portions!

why would you highlight a recipe with the main ingredient heavy whipping cream. Most of your readers are most likely Gluten Free/Dairy Free.

    1. Gluten Free & More says:

      Hi Gayle,

Not all of our readers are dairy-free, some are both and some are only gluten-free. We like to be diverse in our recipes, fulfilling the need for only gluten-free and also for recipes free of multiple allergens, special diets like vegan, Paleo, etc. Not every recipe will fulfill every need.

That said, you can always use a dairy-free heavy whipping cream alternative, such as the one from Silk. Although we didn’t try that with this recipe, it’s usually a good replacement in the majority of recipes calling for heavy whipping cream.

      Hope this helps!
