  • Bold flavors: The marinade delivers the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and smoky notes.
  • Allergy-friendly: Safe for most diets while still tasting indulgent.

These skewers are also fantastic for entertaining—guests love being able to grab one right off the platter, making them a stress-free addition to any menu.

What You’ll Need

Here’s everything required for these Korean BBQ skewers:

  • Steak (sirloin or tri-tip works best)
  • Cremini or baby bella mushrooms
  • San-J Korean BBQ Marinade & Stir Fry Sauce
  • Fresh scallions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Bamboo skewers (soaked to prevent burning)

With such a short ingredient list, you’ll be amazed at how much flavor you get in every bite.

Tips and Variations

  • Don’t skip the soak: Wooden skewers need 30 minutes in water to avoid scorching.
  • Switch it up: Substitute beef with chicken, shrimp, or even tofu for variety.
  • Amp up the sides: Rice, kimchi, and nori sheets turn this into a Korean-inspired feast.
  • Marinate longer for depth: While 2 hours works, overnight marination makes the beef even more flavorful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cook these indoors?

What makes this recipe gluten-free?
The key is using San-J Korean BBQ Marinade, which is certified gluten-free and crafted with quality ingredients.
