You’ll love the way the flavors deepen and meld the longer it sits—so go ahead and prep it the day before!

What You Will Need

This sangria is made with a few fresh, simple ingredients that come together for a vibrant and refreshing drink:

  • White wine – Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio work best for a crisp, not-too-sweet base
  • Barenjager Honey Liqueur – adds smooth, natural sweetness
  • Orange liqueur – a citrusy kick from Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • Fresh orange slices – for color and citrus notes
  • Grapes – halved for easy sipping and a subtle burst of sweetness
  • Cinnamon sticks & whole cloves – warm, unexpected spice that balances the fruit
  • Ice and club soda (optional) – for serving and extra fizz

Tips and Variations

  • Use seasonal fruits: Try adding sliced peaches, berries, or apples for a twist.
  • Make it bubbly: Add sparkling wine instead of still wine, or top each glass with club soda for effervescence.
  • Chill thoroughly: Sangria needs at least 2 hours to steep, but overnight is ideal.
  • Serve in style: A clear pitcher and colorful fruit garnishes make this drink a showstopper.
