Throwing a Mexican-style fiesta? For dessert, create homemade paletas with your favorite fruits. We used bananas and mango nectar in ours, but feel free to experiment to create a frozen treat to please your palate.

Mango Banana Paletas
Ingredients
- 4 medium ripe bananas, broken into chunks
- 3 cups mango nectar, such as Jumex
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- 6-7 8-ounce paper cups
- 6-7 wooden popsicle sticks
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the bananas and mango nectar and blend until smooth. Add the cinnamon and chili powder and blend to combine.
- Pour or ladle into the paper cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Freeze for 90 minutes. Insert popsicle sticks into the center of each cup. Freeze for 4-5 hours or overnight, until solid. Remove paper cups before serving.
