Pizza for dinner is just plain fun! This 5 ingredient (not including water, oil, salt, and pepper) pizza recipe is anything but plain. It will take you beyond just sauce and cheese with an imaginative (and delicious!) flavor pairing.
If you feel like adding one more ingredient, a sprinkling of shredded Parmesan cheese works nicely with this pizza. Add it after the arugula.
Boursin & Pear Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 gluten-free pizza crusts, 8-9 inch
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 5.2 ounce package Boursin cheese or other garlic and herb cream cheese spread
- 2 large pears, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
- 1 cup baby arugula
- Kosher or fine sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Brush the pizza crusts with olive oil. Divide and spread the cheese evenly among each pizza crust. Place the pear slices in a circle over the cheese, overlapping the slices slightly. Place the pizzas on a baking sheet and bake for 7 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Immediately after removing the pizzas from the oven, lay the prosciutto slices on top. Place half the arugula on each pizza, drizzle with a little olive oil, and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cut into slices and serve immediately.
