Gluten Free S’Mores Dip Recipe
Back when my boys were young, we went camping. There were things I liked about camping and things I didn’t. For instance, I wasn’t crazy about the bugs, dirt, and sleeping on the ground. What I liked was making s’mores over the campfire. Truth be told, there were more items on the con side of the pro/con list than the pro side. So, in order to have s’mores without actually having to go camping, now I make Gluten Free S’Mores Dip.
Just 4 ingredients, 10 or 15 minutes, no building a fire, no having to sleep on the ground to earn your reward, and ooey gooey deliciousness – this recipe is a winner in my book!
Even if you really like going camping, this is a great recipe to have on hand for those times when you’re at home and craving s’mores!
Gluten Free S’Mores Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
- 25 large marshmallows cut in half widthwise
- 1 (7-ounce) box Kinnikinnick gluten free S’moreables (graham crackers)
Instructions
- Place a 9-inch cast iron skillet in the oven and preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- When the oven has preheated, carefully remove the hot pan from the oven, add the butter, and swirl the pan to coat with the butter. Add the chocolate chips in an even layer and place the marshmallow in concentric circles over the chocolate. Place back in the oven for 7-9 minutes or until the marshmallows are puffed and golden brown.
- Serve the dip hot with S’moreables for dipping.
