Barenjager Honey Margarita
I know that margaritas are usually made with agave, but have you ever tried a honey marg? If not, you should!
There is something so perfect about the way the tequila (I usually use blanco but reposado is good too) marries with orange liquor, lime juice, and subtle sweetness of honey. It is sort of magical. Usually, honey margaritas are made with a honey simple syrup but these are easier and better because of using Barenjager Honey Liqueur.
This is a recipe for one, but it is very easy to make for any number of people. Just multiply the ingredients based on how many servings you need. This way, you’ll spend less time mixing and more time enjoying the moment.
To make this margarita for a larger group, simply scale up the recipe. Multiply the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and Barenjager Honey Liqueur by the number of drinks you want to serve. Once you’ve got your quantities ready, mix everything together in a large pitcher. This allows you to prepare the base of the cocktail in bulk, ensuring that each guest gets the same delicious, well-balanced margarita.
When it’s time to serve, pour some of the pre-mixed margarita base into a shaker with ice, shake it up for 30 seconds, and then strain it into a prepared glass with a honey and sugar rim. The key to keeping it fresh is to shake each drink just before serving, so everyone gets that perfect chilled texture and blend of flavors. With this method, you can make sure your guests have a consistent and refreshing cocktail, without the hassle of making each drink from scratch.
Cheers!
