When I think about Easter, I think of family and friends, good food, good cocktails, too much candy, and a lot of pastel colors. With that in mind, I thought it would be appropriate to share with you a cocktail that is pastel in color and named for Easter. The Easter Basket combines a few simple ingredients that you might not usually put together into a cocktail but believe me, you will be glad you did!

Easter Basket
Ingredients
- 1½ ounces cherry vodka*
- ½ ounce triple sec
- 3 ounces milk, (regular or dairy-free)
- ⅛ ounce grenadine
Instructions
- *If you do not have cherry vodka, you can substitute it with regular vodka and ¼ ounce of cherry puree.
- In a shaker, add ice and all the ingredients. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. To add to the appearance, rim the martini glass ahead of time with pastel-colored sprinkles.
