Ingredients
- 1½ cups pine nuts
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 30-40 fresh basil leaves about 3 ounces
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- ½ teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt or more to taste
- ½ cup filtered water
Instructions
- In a food processor or blender, blend all ingredients until a paste forms. If the pesto seems too dry, add a bit more oil or water. Taste and adjust salt, if desired.
