Kid-Favorite Pasta Salad

This Kid-Favorite Pasta Salad uses just 5 ingredients (not including salt and pepper) and as the name implies, is a hit with the children!
Kid-Favorite Pasta Salad
Ingredients
- 16 ounces (450 g) gluten-free macaroni noodles
- 10 slices deli ham, , sliced into thin strips
- 8 ounces (227 g) Monterey Jack cheese, cut into ½-inch cubes
- 6 cups (300 g) pre-shredded vegetables, such as broccoli slaw
- ½ cup (120 mL) gluten-free poppy seed dressing
- 1 teaspoon (6 g) kosher or fine sea salt
- ½ teaspoon (1.2 g) freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add a generous pinch of salt to the boiling water. Add pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente, then drain water and place the pasta in a large mixing bowl and let cool.
- Add ham, cheese, and shredded vegetables to the cooled pasta and mix to combine. Toss with dressing thoroughly. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
