Green Onions

Green onions add freshness and mild onion flavor.

Iceberg Lettuce

Large lettuce leaves create a crisp, refreshing low-carb burger wrap.

Tomato and Pickles

Tips for the Best Low Carb Burgers

Don’t Overmix the Meat

Mixing too aggressively can make burgers dense instead of juicy.

Use Cold Ground Beef

Cold beef holds its shape better while forming patties.

Soften the Cream Cheese First

Softened cream cheese mixes more evenly with the other topping ingredients.

Cover the Burgers While Melting the Topping

Loosely covering the skillet helps the cheesy topping soften perfectly.

Layer the Lettuce Wraps

Using two lettuce leaves per burger helps hold everything together better.
