Ingredients

  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon gluten-free low sodium tamari soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 24 chicken wings

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients together except the chicken. Place half of the mixture into a small serving bowl and reserve.
  • Place the chicken wings on a large foil-lined baking sheet. Pour some of the remaining sauce mixture over the wings, turn over, and brush to coat evenly.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, turn the wings over, and brush the other side with additional sauce. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the juices run clear when the thickest part of the chicken is cut to the bone. Serve the wings with the reserved sauce.
