A fun twist on a classic picnic staple, this spicy tuna salad uses hummus to replace some of the mayo which makes it creamy, flavorful, and adds an extra boost of protein.

- 2 (6-ounce) cans albacore tuna, , preferably no salt added
- ¼ cup hummus, any variety
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon harissa sauce/paste

- ½ teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
