A seafood boil is summer entertaining at its best! The luxury of gorgeous, fresh seafood combined with casual dining makes for a sophisticated yet relaxed party all at the same time.

If you don’t have a nearby beach handy, you can still create this fabulous feast right in your own kitchen or backyard. You need a large pot, such as a 16-20 quart stockpot. You can find inexpensive stockpots at hardware or department stores and in some Latin markets.

The secret to this recipe’s success is all in the timing and layering. Start with the longest cooking ingredients first and then add the various ingredients in the order given. Everything will be perfectly cooked, stunningly beautiful, and delectable!

Spread newspapers on the table and present the seafood boil family style on a large platter. Provide small wooden mallets and nutcrackers for removing the meat from the lobsters and let everyone dig in. Serve with some icy cold gluten-free beer, a crisp Pinot Grigio, or lemonade, and let the summer fun begin!
