Gluten Free Sweet & Savory Breakfast Toasts Recipe

Ingredients 

For the savory:

  • ¼ avocado, sliced
  • 1 slice gluten-free bread, toasted
  • Lime juice, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Hemp seeds, to taste

For the sweet:

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter, or nut butter of choice
  • 1 slice gluten-free bread, toasted
  • ½ banana, sliced
  • Chia seeds, for garnish

Instructions 

For the savory: 

  • Place the avocado slices on the toast, or mash the avocado and spread on toast. Top with a drizzle of lime juice, sprinkle with red pepper flakes, and top with hemp seeds for added protein.

For the sweet: 

  • Spread almond butter on toast. Top with sliced banana and sprinkle with chia seeds.
