There is no better hot beverage out there than hot chocolate. It is the perfect drink to cozy up to on a cold winter night or just as a warm sweet treat at the end of the day. Unlike other hot chocolates that come in a pack, and you just have to add water, this Vanilla Hot Chocolate has rich flavors that will have you in hot chocolate heaven.

For this drink, I used Singing Dog Organic Vanilla Extract to add the vanilla flavor to the hot chocolate. First add the milk, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and sugar in a saucepan on medium heat until the chocolate is melted. Then you stir in the vanilla and pour into 2 mugs. I like to garnish mine with whipped cream and sprinkles because it can’t be hot chocolate without toppings.
