For the Pears

  • 4 ripe but firm pears
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons water

For the Homefree Cookie Crumble

  • 1 cup Homefree Mini Cookies, coarsely crushed
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons roasted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Optional Garnishes

  • Dairy-free yogurt or whipped cream
  • Fresh berries
  • A light drizzle of extra maple syrup

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Wash the pears and cut them in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to gently scoop out the core and seeds, creating a small hollow for filling.
  • Place the pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish. Drizzle lightly with maple syrup, then sprinkle evenly with ground cinnamon. Add the water around the pears in the pan to keep them moist as they bake.
  • In a small bowl, combine the crushed Homefree Mini Cookies with applesauce, pumpkin seeds, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir until a crumbly, sticky texture forms.
  • Spoon the crumble mixture into each pear half, pressing gently so the crumbs nestle into the center.
