Why We Love Air Fryer Shrimp

Air fryers have become a kitchen favorite for good reason. They create beautifully crisp shrimp in just minutes while using minimal oil.

The shrimp develop a crunchy coating before being tossed in the creamy Bang Bang sauce, giving you the perfect combination of crisp texture and bold flavor. Because the sauce is added after cooking, the shrimp stay wonderfully crisp instead of becoming soggy.

GloryLand Gluten-Free Brown Rice Noodles Make the Perfect Base

A great noodle bowl starts with great noodles.

GloryLand Gluten-Free Brown Rice Noodles have a pleasantly chewy texture that pairs beautifully with the creamy sauce and crispy shrimp. After cooking, they’re tossed with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking while adding a subtle nutty flavor that complements the entire dish.

Unlike heavier pasta dishes, these noodles keep the bowl feeling fresh and balanced while soaking up every bit of the delicious sauce.

Tips for the Crispiest Shrimp

For the best results:

  • Pat the shrimp completely dry before coating.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Spray the shrimp lightly with avocado oil.
  • Flip halfway through cooking.
  • Toss the shrimp with the sauce immediately before serving.

These simple steps help create shrimp that stay crispy on the outside while remaining juicy inside.

Easy Ways to Customize Your Bowl

One of the best things about noodle bowls is how easy they are to personalize.

Try adding:

  • Sliced avocado
  • Pickled vegetables
  • Edamame
  • Cucumbers
  • Mango
  • Radishes
  • Extra cilantro
  • Crushed peanuts or cashews

You can also adjust the amount of sriracha to make the sauce as mild or spicy as your family enjoys.

Perfect for Meal Prep

These bowls make excellent lunches throughout the week.

Prepare the noodles, vegetables, sauce, and shrimp separately, then assemble just before serving. Keeping the sauce separate until you’re ready to eat helps preserve the shrimp’s crispy texture.
