It started with a salad…
Kathie Pelliccio had a problem. She loved salads but needed something more – more crunch and more flavor. Kathie tried almonds and peanuts, but found that no-shell pumpkin seeds (pepitas) had just the fright flavor and crunch she was looking for. As a bonus, they were unique, fun, allergy-friendly and far more nutritious. Kathie started making her own no shell seasoned pumpkin seeds. Flavor was critical, ingredients had to be clean and each seed had to be perfectly roasted. Picky eaters loved them, so did all their friends. Eventually, a company – Kathie’s Kitchen was born! Now Kathie and her husband, Joe, travel all around the country sharing SuperSeedsz and turning people into Superseedz “seedlings.”
