Goat Cheese Butter Board with Pickled Fruit

Have you heard of the newest food trend called the butter board? Butter boards are very similar to charcuterie boards with it consisting of butter spread out on a board with fruit, vegetables, and bread (gluten-free of course) alongside it. This Goat Cheese Butter Board with Pickled Fruit is the perfect spread to serve at your holiday party. This dish is bursting with flavor with savory flavors from the goat cheese butter and sweeter flavors from the pickled fruit. Don’t expect any leftovers from this spread because your party guests will be mingling around it all night.

The star of this spread is the pickled fruit. It gives this dish so much flavor and color. To make the pickled fruit you first start out by heating up the Marukan Organic Seasoned Rice Vinegar, water, and sugar in a saucepan and stir until the sugar dissolves. Then in mason jars add the cloves, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, and fruit. Keep the fruit separated by types in each mason jar. Then pour the brine in the jar and refrigerate.

If you are having a holiday party this season, be sure to make this showstopping spread.
