Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
When I lived in California, I was a Pink Berry fanatic – whenever I went by a location I had to get a dish of their tart, tangy frozen yogurt. Sometimes I would get some fruit toppings but usually, just a dish of that smooth goodness was all I needed for my fix.
Sadly, there is no Pink Berry where I live now so I decided to try and make my own version. This recipe is so simple, just THREE INGREDIENTS! Yep, just three – Greek yogurt, sugar, and Singing Dog Vanilla.
If for some reason you can’t get your hands on Greek yogurt, you can make strained yogurt – you will need 6 cups of plain yogurt, line a strainer with a few layers of cheesecloth, and let the yogurt strain in the fridge for 6 hours.
I have not tried this recipe with dairy-free yogurt but if I were a betting gal (and I am) I would bet it will work.
This recipe is so easy I hope you will give it a try. It is a perfect way to cool off this summer!
