Boozy Frozen Mexican Hot Chocolate
We are a little obsessed with Mexican hot chocolate. We have made cakes, cupcakes, hot chocolate, and now – a Boozy Frozen Mexican Hot Chocolate.
What makes Mexican hot chocolate so special is the addition of spices like cinnamon and chilis. It is a little less sweet than other hot chocolates and the combination is just so special!
Since September can still be quite warm, we thought we would do a last hurrah to summer with this frozen version. And why not add a little booze? It is basically a Mexican hot chocolate milkshake with the addition of Mozart Chocolate Cream liqueur. There is something about this drink that is both cooling and warming, if that makes any sense???
This makes a great dessert! It is creamy and rich, and chocolatey. We like to top it off with some whipped cream, shaved chocolate, and maybe a cinnamon stick or dried chili.
We hope you enjoy this delicious treat. Cheers!
