The holidays are coming. I repeat, the holidays are coming. Are you prepared? Do you have dessert ideas already? How about ideas for everyday dinners? – because you know, you still have to eat on days that aren’t Thanksgiving. And how’s your overall health? We all know the holidays can be stressful, so let’s not forget to fuel our bodies with healthy eats!

The follow items have landed on our November faves list for very different reasons. Keep reading and you’ll see why we’re loving each of these this month!

Feel Good Superfoods Turmeric Powder

Feel Good Organic Superfoods

First, let’s start with making sure your body is in good health and that you’re feeling optimal for the holidays! I don’t know about you, but many people tend to drink more around the holidays, and drinking can make you feel a bit inflamed the next day, so products like Feel Good Organic Superfoods’ turmeric powder is a great way to combat inflammation from alcohol consumption or other forms of inflammation. Many people use it for arthritis relief and it’s just a great overall addition to your daily regimen. Feel Good Organic Superfoods makes wholesome products that enhance health and wellbeing, including supplements, vitamins, and powders. All products are gluten-free and dairy-free and most are vegan except the immune support shots and capsules, because of the B12 sourcing. Check out our coupons page for a 20% off coupon.

Nantucket Pasta Goddess Ravioli

Nantucket Pasta Goddess

We all have to eat dinner, even on days we’re running around like mad – grocery shopping, buying gifts, decorating, cleaning the house for company, visiting with family and friends from out of town, etc. This is where frozen foods that are wholesome and taste homemade come in handy! Nantucket Pasta Goddess makes gluten-free ravioli in Butternut Squash, Mushroom and Goat Cheese, and Sei Formaggi (multi-cheese blend). These are delicious, restaurant-quality, all-natural, vegetarian, and free from wheat, gluten, soy, and nuts. And the flavor – wow! My favorite is the Mushroom and Goat Cheese because seriously, how often do you get that combination in a gluten-free pasta? Their ravioli come frozen and don’t need to be thawed before cooking. Even if your counters are covered in dishes from holiday meal prep or you’re in the middle of putting away groceries or wrapping gifts, you can certainly boil some water and make yourself a quick and delicious Italian dinner!

Flax4Life Chocolate Cake

Flax4Life

Desserts are the star of the show at many holiday gatherings, so if you’re looking for something ready-made, decadent, and actually a bit healthier in terms of ingredients, Flax4Life makes some delicious cakes! They make a chocolate cake (pictured here) and also a carrot cake (bookmark that idea for Easter!). Aside from the desserts, Flax4Life is a great company to turn to for breakfast for all those busy mornings – grab a case of muffins or a couple bags of granola so that you can fuel your body with delicious, flavorful foods that are high in omega 3s, healthy protein, fiber, and lignans, even on the busiest of holiday mornings!

Isibisi Pasta

Isibisi

Pasta is something that many families serve around the holidays, either for easy dinners during the busy season or as a main dish on a holiday. Christmas Eve might consist of lasagna for some families, or perhaps you want to make a vegan-friendly pasta dish as the main course for those coming to your Thanksgiving dinner who don’t eat turkey. Isisbisi is one of the newest pasta companies I’ve learned about and I love them! They use my favorite kind of mix in gluten-free pastas: rice and corn. This combination makes the perfect al dente texture. Isibisi is free from preservatives, emulsifiers, and artificial flavors. Their ingredients are non-GMO, egg-free, dairy-free, and nut-free. Oh, wait, did I mention this pasta is made in Italy? So, it’s the real deal! They have a variety of traditional shapes you’ll love.

Homefree Cookies

Homefree

There’s starting to be a theme with some of these products … DESSERT! This one is great for several reasons. First, it’s extremely allergen-friendly. Homefree cookies were created by the mom of a child with food allergies, so they are not only gluten-free but also dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free, vegan, kosher, and non-GMO. These cookies are a staff favorite at Gluten Free & More and many of our friends and family members who aren’t gluten-free have tried these and love them! They’re a bit addictive, especially because they are the perfect one-bite size. Recently, I made a gluten-free, vegan pumpkin pie and used Homefree Gingersnap Cookies as the crust. You can see how to make my Vegan Pumpkin Pie with Gingersnap Crust on my YouTube channel.
