Brownie Milkshake in a tall glass with chocolate syrup and cherries

Gluten-Free Brownie Milkshake

Treat yourself to something chilly this summer. Something reminiscent of childhood. Something you’d usually only get at an ice cream shop but you can just as easily make it at home. A milkshake! This Gluten-Free Brownie Milkshake is just what you need to transport you to those days of running barefoot through the sprinklers, only coming in from outside when the street lights came on. Cheers to a delicious summer!

To make this recipe, you’ll need a couple of dark cherry brownies from Flax 4 Life. These brownies contain flax (hence the name) so they are packed with lignans and omega-3s. Who said milkshakes can’t have health benefits? You can choose regular or dairy free ice cream and milk for this recipe. Add chocolate syrup or don’t – the choice is yours. And of course, whipped cream (regular or dairy-free) and a few cherries make this shake complete. If you can, opt for cherries that don’t contain artificial dyes – just because we’re feeling nostalgic for childhood faves doesn’t mean we can’t make them better than the junk we might have had in our childhoods, am I right?
