Chicken Fajita Burger on wooden plank on a white-washed wood table with cilantro and limes in the background

Gluten-Free Chicken Fajita Burgers

I love a good mashup of dishes, like this Gluten-Free Chicken Fajita Burgers recipe that is a marriage of fajitas and burgers. In this case, chicken burgers. You’ll love how easy this recipe is and how filling and satisfying it is!

For the chicken burgers, I used Bell & Evans Chicken Burgers. I really love these burgers. You cook them frozen, and you can cook them on the grill or in a skillet. They don’t have any fillers, yet they don’t fall apart like other chicken burgers. Plus, they are ready in just 10-15 minutes.

The fajita part of this recipe comes from the fajita seasoning and the sauteed bell peppers and onions. A spread of mashed avocado with lime juice onto the buns helps moisten the bread without the use of mayo or another sauce, and it really helps to marry all the flavors in these burgers.

It’s almost officially summer, so check out more gluten-free burger recipes!
