Granola Apple Crisp
Looking for a delicious dessert to make over the summer? Then look no further than this Granola Apple Crisp. This recipe is easy to make and is a great teaser for the later months when apple pies will be made.
For this recipe you first start out by combining the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in the food processor. After a couple of pulses, you add the butter and continue pulsing until crumbly. Then you add the Flax4Life Granola and pulse until combined. For the filling you combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Then you pour the filling in a pan with the granola combination on top and bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 350°F. When the filling bubbles and topping is golden brown it is done!

Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten-free flour blend
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt
- 1 stick butter , cut into pieces
- 2 cups Flax 4 Life Granola
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pulse a few times to combine. Add the butter and pulse until crumbly. Add the granola and pulse a few times to combine.

Ingredients
- 8 medium apples , peeled, cored, and chopped
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup gluten-free flour blend
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 by 12-inch baking dish.
- Combine filling ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into prepared pan, top with topping, and bake for 45 minutes or until the filling is bubbly and the topping golden brown.
