Gluten Free Spatini Cocktail Recipe
Ever been to a spa? I have and I love them! They are serene, quiet, and people pamper you – what’s not to love?
This Gluten Free Spatini Cocktail recipe is inspired by some of my favorite spa trips. It has a clean, refreshing taste and you know how spas always have those pitchers of water with cucumber and citrus slices? Well, this cocktail could replace that cucumber citrus water. Assuming that spas let you replace water with gin (which would pretty much make it the best spa ever!)
The Spatini is simplicity itself, just really great gin (I like Hendricks, small handcrafted gin infused with cucumber and roses, so spa-like already), freshly squeezed lime juice (from a lime, not a green plastic bottle), organic blue agave (I like Wholesome Sweeteners) and cucumbers. English or seedless cucumbers are preferred but since this cocktail is supposed to give you a chilled out spa-like feeling, don’t stress over it if you can only find the kind with seeds. Oh, peel the cucumbers with a vegetable peeler and save the peels, they make for a cool garnish when you tread on a skewer.
Next time you are looking for a cocktail that puts you in your Zen place, try this one.

So, gin isn’t made with wheat or wheat like berries?
Ang,
No it’s not distilled with wheat but it is commonly distilled from corn or barely and current science says that the distillation process removes the gluten but if you feel you react to it maybe avoid it.
