Maple Brussels Sprouts with Apple

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Brussels sprouts
  • 1 medium-large apple (any kind you like)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • Cut the ends off the Brussels sprouts and then cut them in half lengthwise. Place in a large bowl. Dice the apple into small-medium pieces, then add to the bowl with the Brussels sprouts. Add the olive oil, maple syrup, and spices to the bowl and stir to combine. Place onto the baking sheet and roast for 30-35 minutes.
