After a trip to Italy, my dad and a friend came home and bought a bottle of Aperol. I had never tried it before then, and it was delicious! It’s an Italian alcohol made with rhubarb and other ingredients. The Aperol Spritz is a staple cocktail in Italy and it’s becoming more popular here in the U.S. With this quick and easy recipe, you can enjoy a taste of Italy at home! It’s a simple, light, and refreshing sparkling wine cocktail that is sure to please your palate.

Aperol Spritz
Servings: 1 cocktail

Ingredients
- 2 ounces Aperol liqueur
- 2 ounces Prosecco
- ¼ ounce club soda
- 1 orange slice - for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a wine glass ¾ full of ice. In the order listed, pour in each of the ingredients. Garnish with an orange slice.
