Almond Cappuccino with Kelapo Ghee

Bulletproof coffee is a brand of coffee, yes, but it is also a style of coffee. You mix a fat into the coffee – typically coconut oil or butter – and the fat helps give you a more sustainable energy. Kelapo is a company that makes coconut oil, grass-fed ghee, and a 50/50 blend of the two. The following Almond Cappuccino with Kelapo Ghee can be made with their ghee, coconut oil, or 50/50 blend.

Coconut oil is full of healthy things like MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) which is what your body utilizes in the coconut oil for energy. Ghee is clarified butter, which means it contains the good stuff and leaves the lactose and casein behind. Small amounts of ghee is typically allowed on the Paleo diet and other diets that exclude most other dairy products.
