Gluten-Free Pretzel Nuggets and Cheese Sauce

Today is National Pretzel Day! Congratulations, blessings to you, or whatever we are supposed to say to each other on such a festive occasion! Okay, so maybe I’m being a bit dramatic about pretzel day, but I love any reason to celebrate food. Anyways, in honor of National Pretzel Day, here’s a fabulous recipe for Gluten-Free Pretzel Nuggets and Cheese Sauce.

Technically, this recipe is just the cheese sauce, because I used a couple packages of gluten-free pretzel nuggets from The Greater Knead. I mean, why reinvent the wheel, am I right? Their pretzel nuggets are delicious, and way easier than if I were to slave away in the kitchen making dough and waiting around for it to turn into pretzels.

The cheese sauce pairs perfectly with the pretzel nuggets, and it’s really simple to make. This is a cheese sauce that is so easy to make that once you’ve followed the recipe a couple times, you’ll be able to make it without even referring to the recipe. It does help that almost all the measurements in the sauce are “1” – as in 1 tablespoon or 1 cup. Now that’s easy to remember.
